It is really stupid in a way, because I remember how happy I was as Bitcoin went to $73,000... but I didn't sell anything. Then it went to $55,000, and I didn't do a thing. I am just hodling, and the same is true with my Steem tokens and everything else I own. So, I am not planning on selling anything anytime soon. Still, I somehow feel happy when the market is pumping, even though I know it is most likely to head downwards again later. So, why is it enjoyable?
Have you ever been to an amusement park? You know where the roller coaster starts and where it ends. It is the same place (that isn't true for crypto though). So, it is really a ride up and down where you know the outcome. Of course, you could just skip it all, but we are made to enjoy the ride, and the bumps and dumps along the way. So yes, I will enjoy the ride up in the crypto world, even though I know it is destined to move down as well, later. But the difference to me, is that I know, in the long perspective, some gems will not end up where they started, but much higher up, while lots of junk coins will end up next to the track, destroyed, ruined, dead, and bankrupt.
So, I will try to invest in the safe bets for the future and enjoy the ride! What about you?
