A group of young Cuban students, cryptocurrency enthusiasts, created a web service to buy bitcoins from the Caribbean island. The exchange system for Cuban pesos, called Fusyona, is not automated and must be executed manually. To generate a purchase request, the interested person must send an email detailing the amount of bitcoins they want, the province in which they are located and a telephone number.
The operation is carried out through the "agents" of Fusyona, who must subsequently meet the buyer in one of the public areas with Internet via Wi-Fi. At that time the person delivers the cash and the public key of his wallet, and then receives the BTC. The process culminates when the investor confirms that the transfer has been made.
