I have had some trouble finally moving onto Steemit. I get all my information on the web, and I believe the time has come for a new platform for content creators!
I own a small business in the jewellery business and I am a small investor. I am curious about Money in general. This has led me to invest in precious, Gold and Silver, as well as mining in general, and of course Crypto-currencies. I originally purchased BTC in 2013 just as Mt-Gox got hacked. I have re-entered the Crypto world in July 2017, and I intend to continue investing throughout 2018.
I live in Switzerland, and I am shocked by the way Western civilisation seems to be willing to self-destruct. With the "migrant crisis" in Europe, as well as the crazy way people are behaving on the Left, I believe The West needs to gain back some of it's sanity. Switzerland is still a little beacon of hope in the middle of this mess, but of course it cannot stay unaffected by all the madness surrounding it.
Finally, I vote for peace! 1) yes I vote. Direct democracy should be the way of the future, and 2) enough of all these wars started by the west, which in part have led to the migrant crisis, and the importation of Islam into Europe. I am hoping that blockchain technology will allow all democracies to vote on all important topics (just like in Switzerland) whilst avoiding the dangers of vote rigging.
