The number one advise for beginner in cryptotrading
When I started trading cryptocurrencies, I made all the possible mistakes... and I'm pretty sure everybody else did as well.
I thought I could prevent most of the mistakes by reading advises, watching videos and so on (It does help!). And I did learn a lot.
But when I started to trade, I felt like falling into all the possible traps.
I have been:
- FOMOing (buying by Fear Of Missing Out) just before the value fell,
- FUDing (selling by Fear Uncertainty Doubt) just to see the coin's value sharply raising just a few days later,
- buying coins just because they were cheap, without taking into account the supply,
- forgetting to use a Stop-Loss in my trade,
- buying coins just because somebody on Youtube was excited about it,
and countless more.
If you are a beginner in this, there is a good chance you will do many mistakes as well, so my advise (and basically the only thing I did do right) is:
START SMALL !!!
I basically started with about 100 Eur (very roughly 120 Dollars), and that's a good starting point. It will allow you to buy a few coins and get your feet wet before you jump in.
With this amount, you will be able to try different approaches without too much pressure. And the mistakes won't hurt as much. You will lose some money and be able to take it as a lesson, not like a curse. Just analyze why it happened and go on from there.
Learn by doing is the fastest way to learn.
If you are trading fairly intensively (daily, for example), you can then add to your trading capital maybe twice a month and already have quite some experience (and capital) within 6 months. At this point, you should be already much more confident, have done most of the beginner mistakes, developed a strategy and be ready to open larger trades.
I wish you a prosperous year and many happy trades.
P.S: don't forget that there is a life outside the blockchain. ;-)

Learning by doing is by far the best way to learn, I agree! I don't agree that there is a life outside the blockchain :)
Also, diversify diversify diversify! Instead of going all in on a single coin, it's good to find as many as possible. You could even just put 1usd in a single coin!
