yesterday i started to mine Ethereum in my basement. My setup is pretty simple, This is one of the two Graphic cards i am using (they are both the same):
I bought each R9 280 for 100 Euro.
I Overclocked them, so they are managing 28 megahashes per second
with a cheap AMD Mainboard. (GA-MA790XT-UD4P)
with a 750 Watt power supply from "be quiet"
In total my Power usage is about ~620 Watt. The price for electricity per kw/h is 28 cents, since i am living in Germany. So i am spending ~4,20 Euro per day.
I am mining with Minergate in a PPLNS pool.
Now comes the main part, how much i earned:
I had a lot of luck since yesterday and made ~0.0096 Ethereum, which is worth about 9 Euro.
In conclusion i made 4 Euros in one day and i am glad, that all worked out. Also I am planning to buy me a solar plant to increase the efficiency
