Yes, Ripple will surpass bitcoin one day. Ripple is faster (3sec) to send vs Bitcoin(1hour+) . the fees are 100 times lower. Ripple is selling it's tech to Banks and organizations. So, definitely!

The only thing keeping Bitcoin on top is nostalgia (it was the first). I made 2 online purchases with Bitcoin Cash the other day....transaction fee grand total: $0.06. Bitcoin Cash is already far superior to Bitcoin. It's only a matter until everyone realizes that this king is buck naked.
