Allow me to introduce myself

New to steem today. Name's Mark and I appreciate the opportunity to be allowed to contribute to it.

I Knew about BTC back in 2009 and did a great deal of research. At the time, the only use for it seemed to be buying on darkmarkets and seeing as it was a one way street (once in to btc no out to USD at the time), I passed. Now of course I kick myself but shoot, we all make mistakes. Hindsight is always easy, if it had crashed I would've been right.

Throughout the years I would look back and go, hmm 3.00 for LTC seems too steep to invest... get the picture?

Good news is that it's never too late to start, 2 years ago a $100 investment in Ethereum is worth a few thousand today. You see everyone's looking to be the next bitcoin or the next litecoin. I am not interested in those, I am interested in the first something else. BTC and LTC are great (I personally favor LTC but I digress). Eth is nice but what about others? So many choices, so much hype, so much vapor.

I will be publishing from time to time and can hopefully provide some useful advice. I understand how to value the underlying nonsense that makes up so much of this community. It's a great time to be alive.

Welcome Mark. Upvoted and followed you.

Great post. I learned early on that it matters none where an asset has been, only where it is going.

You point about LTC is a prime example. Today, Amazon is worth close to $1000 a share...how many would have liked to get into it at $375? It is easy to state I want a 10 bagger of this but getting into something that doubles or triples is a very healthy return. People need to keep this in mind. Treasuries are paying something like 2.5%.

Sorry I meant to say ETH not LTC.
