Steemit, what do you think about: DASH & EOS vs Bitcoin & Ethereum

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

It has been since last Friday that I posted something. But I had a busy weekend and yesterday I went to the largest outdoor Techno festival here in the Netherlands: Awakenings. So it was time to play hard instead of to work hard :)

So today I am talking in my video about the advantages that DASH & EOS has versus Bitcoin and Ethereum. I am not saying that these two will over trow Bitcoin and Ethereum, but they do seem to be focusing on scalability for the future.

Dash has announced to increase their blocksize to 400 MB to be future ready to compete against established payments such as visa and mastercard and EOS has Daniel Larimer, the co-founder of Bitshares and Steemit behind them of which we know that the technology behind Steemit is top notch in terms of capacity, which makes it capable to do multiple 1000's of transactions per second (take upvoting as an example). With EOS they claim to do millions of transactions per second.

Of course, I know, at this stage EOS still need to proof their self, but I am curious to see where EOS will be in a couple of years.

EOS 'million transactions per second' is not going to happen.
We all know what happened with ETH while Bancor got ICO'ed.
BTC first, rest will follow. However, it looks like ETH is more attractive to companies etc.

So I'll stick with ETH

True, don't you mean with status? correct EEA is huge, but there are also negative comments coming from companies now on Ethereum

Because of the lagging blockchain atm.
It will change over time once eth gets updated.

DASH and BTC ! HAHA!

:P

Hi. I added you. You're very informative indeed. I've watched you on Youtube. Do you know the safest place to store EOS? Can you do a video on safest place to store EOS and how to do it? Please?
