BlocVehicle Network was developed with a decentralized EVM (DAPP) based application program. EVM is widely used for developing smart contracts. Considering development time, costs and reliability, building BlocVehicle Network with EVM as a base more efficiently than creating new network and blockchain platforms. Therefore, BlocVehicle uses Ethereum (ETH) as the main platform.
The BlocVehicle network consists mainly of three components:

- vehicle information.
- VCL Token.
Storing all data via blockchain is almost impossible given realistic time, cost, and performance constraints. To minimize the volume of data stored directly on the blockchain, photos and video files from the history of the vehicle are stored in external storage in encrypted form and the hash values of these files are recorded via blockchain. For external storage space, block chain storage is used based on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) network.
Structure of the BlocVehicle System
BlocVehicle Network consists of three layers and off-block chain storage. The application layer handles connections to all participants. The service layer handles connections to applications and core layers. The core layer handles connections to outside block chain storage.
- Application Layer.
The application layer provides UI and API for creating and reading information. Participants can use all functions through the official wallet (iOS / Android application), while third parties such as companies make quantitative data through third party APIs.
- Service layer.
The service layer connects applications and core layers and provides functions for managing user information. The service layer provides functions for data input and output through connections to the core layer.
- Core Layer.
The core layer uses a diversified database to securely protect data using data networks using the latest encryption technology. Because a limited amount of data can be stored via the blockchain, separate storage space is needed to efficiently store photos and video files from the history of the vehicle, which is handled by the core layer.
