Bye bye Coin Base

After purchasing my first bit of bitcoin last week, I noticed a fair amount of complaints geared toward Coin Base. In hindsight, I should have put more research into what the best digital wallet was instead of jumping on the first one I heard about.

Originally I had planned on tossing a few more dollars into bit coin (via Coin Base). The site would not allow me to purchase anything new, telling me some BS about my bank not allowing this transaction (even though they allowed it last week just fine) I figured I would delete my card info and re-verify it and well... that was a no go too.

frustrated, I hit up google and discovered that I was far from alone in my coin base troubles- far from alone. Not wanting to play their game, I just transferred my bitcoin into steem (thank goodness that worked) and will use it to power up.

can anyone recommend a good and reliable digital wallet? I wold still like to dabble in crypto outside of steem but now I am hesitate to sign up with another site without further research.

For buying cryptos in the US, you are pretty restricted on who you can work with. I would recommend coinbase or Gemini, but I would suggest storing the coins in a cold wallet. For example MyEtherWallet, Exodus, or MetaMask.

If you have a significant amount of holdings, Id suggest a cold storage wallet such as a ledger or a trezor.

try other way.\
like buy btc by paypal .then forward to coinbase or other exchange platfrom.
