Just purcahsed a new GTX 1080 Nvidia for gaming.
After learning aobut crypto mining, I have put it to use mining Ethereum when I am not playing games.
There are a lot of videos out there showing you what to do.
The basic steps are
- Create and Ethereum wallet
I used https://www.myetherwallet.com/ - Download a program to do the mining. I used Claymore's miner
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0 - Configure the program to connect to a mining pool and with you Ethereum wallet.
I used https://ethermine.org/ - Run the program.
- Wait for the payout.
You ahve to consider the electrcity usage.
There are a few calculators that show the returns and profits.
