It's just like gold or silver they don't want people moving big amount across the boarder undeclared, its just that with crypto its a bit a different situation

Thank you bitcoinman. Yes i think when they see bitcoun wallet they assume a btc is worth 12k so this person is bringing 12k plus in the phone, although it could be just 0.01

Hi @djohan ,Here in Colombia they say that Bitcoin is a pyramid, when I speak of cryptocurrencies people look at me as a weirdo, but thanks for sharing, it seems a bit extreme what happens according to your story.
