Just a simple greeting there is no nice intro from me..
As usual I will make a simple detail on my content no metaphor or artificial literature writing and just head to the main points...
May be if you had read one of my post recently about about picking the right motherboard for your mining rig and I gave you some general ideas.
This time I just want to share some more about it
So I assumed that you had bought your motherboard with some good cheap price and you kind a regret it because the motherboard just had three PCIE slots on it and you started to curse me because you just followed exactly like what I've suggest in my recent article about this...lol...Well, there will be always a way and option to optimize it.
H110M PRO-VD PLUS | Motherboard
I've been using this motherboard for about 6 months for my mining rig and I haven't got into any issues on it....yet...
and a single on it.
The Upgrade!
Maybe you want to load more graphic cards onto it and it is not impossible to do... Just find a PCIE riser with a multiple USB slots. In my case, I used three PCIE risers with two USB slots for six on one rig .....check out the picture below...
I am mining on the Equihash algorithm and I just can show you the mining information based on my hardwares set up and built..
This was just based on five
Those PCIE risers are available on the Amazon online shop or any other online shop and I advice you to buy an extra just in case you get a faulty PCIE risers so it won't cost you more time just to wait for another new replacement.
The conclusion...
It is not necessary for you to have a motherboard with more PCIE on it. Some may have six or more ready PCIE slots and the motherboard itself. It ain't cheap but the option always be your to decide. All the details above are based on my on experience and it did not relate to any promotional purposes from any of those motherboard computer developers.
This might help you to have some ideas to decide on what you can do about it.
Great post again dude
