what is OneLedger?
OneLedger hopes to provide convenience for businesses and individuals and integrate blockchain technology into daily activities. They plan to do this by making it easier to create side chains(private and public blockchains) using the OneLedger protocol. According to the project, OneLedger will make these side chain compatible with other blockchains, allowing data to be stored in various blockchains while supporting consensus across the various chains.
OneLedger is a combination of consensus protocol and side chain. It uses blockchain technology's own sharing and self-defense mechanisms to form a blockchain network that can be implemented and verified to achieve cross-chain access through modular services. OneLedger's side chains can synchronize with the status of other backbone networks. Any cryptocurrency that supports HTLC and payment channels can be credited to the OneLedger side chain at the time of “wallet” deposit. After defining a three-layer consensus protocol, OneLedger enables different blockchain applications to integrate more efficiently.
Its platform plans to create a master key authentication system that allows users to create accounts with digital wallets, credit systems and arbitration mechanisms. The master key will be used to connect all public keys in the user's network (public keys in all chains), create a common identity, and ensure that the user only needs one "OneLedger" identity instead of many identities. The credit score of each identity will be based on its degree of honesty in the network, and participants may use arbitration mechanisms to resolve possible problems in the OneLedger channel. These features will be tailored to the needs of different users; for example, it is reported that companies on the platform will be able to set up custom permissions on their networks.
In addition, it plans to create an SDK that can deploy dApps on multiple platforms without changing the underlying coding language. It is expected that this system can improve interoperability, for example in a cross-chain decentralized exchange: Users will be able to shift larger workloads to higher-performance side chain so that protocols and dApps can communicate - There are many other possible use cases. In the future, OneLedger also plans to develop a market where developers can use their applications to get rewards.

Technology
OneLedger uses the side chain consensus to complete the transfer between the main chains. When cross-chain collaboration is required, the pre-consensus step will first be conducted in OneLedger, and the proposal will be voted by the chain verifier to verify the locking or unlocking behavior of the public asset. If the proposal returns successfully from both chains, then the pre-consensus block is determined to be licensed. Once one of the side chain nodes has submitted the block, the transfer will be done in OneLedger. Because OneLedger uses the cooperation of the joint and drive chains, it is possible to synchronize between the public and the side chain, so as to achieve cross-chain transactions.
The side chain consensus algorithm consists of two phases. The first phase is "round-based pre consensus," requiring more than two-thirds of the nodes within the scope of the agreement to obtain a consensus proposal; the second phase is the pre consensus block prepublication chain. In connection, each node will confirm a pre-consensus proposal that is signed by two-thirds of the nodes in the scope. After verification, the block will be broadcast.
Token
It will release 100 million tokens to maintain system operation. The main participants of the system are: users (paying fees to use platform services), network nodes (receiving OLT tokens as contribution rewards), and developers (including individual contributions) To business teams, consulting firms, etc.).

Summary
In general, OneLedger has a well-thought-out prospective solution if the product launch is still a great project. The main drawback is the lack of MVP and the small number of developers involved, but now the project is still in its infancy, and I am still in no hurry. I still believe that in the near future, low hardcap, excellent creativity and excellent team will bring this project. A lot of attention.
