Ross Ulbricht, a prominent figure in the Bitcoin (BTC) world and recently released from prison, suffered a significant financial loss in the last few hours.

The wallet associated with Ulbricht lost approximately 12 million dollars while attempting to operate in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space on the Solana network.

Ulbricht, known for being the creator of Silk Road, an online marketplace on the dark web, was released after serving part of his sentence and receiving a pardon from former U.S. President Donald Trump, as reported by CriptoNoticias.

Since his release, Ulbricht has received considerable moral and financial support from the community.

As part of this support, he received 50% of the supply of the ROSS token (Ross Ulbricht Fund), sent by the token developers with the intention of assisting in his financial reintegration.

However, his attempt to manage these funds on the Raydium DeFi platform ended in a significant loss due to errors in the token's liquidity configuration, according to analysts from Arkham Intelligence.
