I'm on here for the alexa ranking and to get my message out that I've been working on for the last 6 years. I'm sorry that it seems the alexa is actually misleading. I have been wondering how it got so good with "good" posts being ignored, and now I think it is the "pay to play" posts that are getting the attention. It makes me question the effort I'm making but I will still try.

      True - I'm still using fb and it does drive traffic and sales for me - not so sure of my steemit results but it has only been 6 weeks.

        The thing with steemit is u got to put money into it to make something out of it, most people will only see the $ sign.

        This is exactly what I was NOT told when coming here. I thought this was a place to post your content so it will be seen. Now it appears that you need to put money in to make it work as you say. That is not something I am able to do.

        Plus I'm not really one to invest in social media platforms as quite a few have failed while I have been on them.

          maybe facebook is for you, but we know you wont go back to fb, why because fb dont pay, steem pay a little better than nothing.

            I have pages I run over there that generate income and I get people to go to to my pages through my fb groups. I'm also in Steemit groups over there - about 50 of them and they get me upvotes. I know fb is not for everyone, but it is not dead yet. I know people who kill it over there with fb ads - @jerrybanfiled is one of them. I just get my search traffic and that works pretty well for me.
