Good news for Ethereum Classic (ETC) Miners & Holders, or just a scam? There will be a new so called Hardfork at the July 13./14. and this will cause in a new coin split = Free Coins.
I'm sure that many of you are remembering the coin split of Ethereum (ETH) in cause of a Hardfork and since this Hardfork there is also the cryptocurrency Ethereum Classic (ETC). Everyone who holded Ethereum (ETH) at this time, received the cryptocurrency Ethereum Classic (ETC) for free with an rate of 1 to 1. (One ETC for every 1 ETH you holded)
In July this year there could be a similar event with the chance to receive free coins for holding Ethereum Classic (ETC), for a rate of 1 to 1.
What do I have to do for participating at the upcoming at the upcoming Ethereum Classic Hardfork and to receive free EtherEmerald (ETE) coins?
If you are owning Ethereum Classic (ETC) coins and/or if you want to buy some before the Hardfork, it is very important to hold the coins on a wallet with private key like MyEtherwallet for example.
Maybe some exchanges will accept the coin split too and they will also distribute EtherEmerald (ETE) to holders too, but if you want to be sure about it, don't hold your ETC on an exchange! (Even in general you shouldn't hold coins on exchanges if you don't want to trade with it, because this are not your personal wallets, you don't have a private key. It also already happened that some exchanges got hacked in the past and that's why you should only hold your cryptocurrencies on wallets with private key, as long as you don't want to sell them)

EtherEmerald (ETE) will be used to replace the current Gas fee system of Ethereum Classic (ETC) and improve the cryptocurrency with it.

everyone loves free coin, but too many scams these days, weve seen what happened during the time of electronero a proposed unofficial fork of electroneum.
Whenever an unofficial hardfork is raised alarm is being sound and one got to be very careful.
