Using an ICO to launch Products

I just had a brilliant idea that I want to share with you pioneers, and if you use this, please donate, this is the honor system out here in the wild west.

Where as there are all kinds of tokens issued backed by various commodities and things. I think it would be cool to crowdsource a product by selling tokens, that can at any point be sent to your business and be converted into a product.

Of course lead-times and such would apply, but basically you crowd sale by taking Crypto donations, divide the amount you raise by your product's MSRP, and issue tokens out for that "value." Then at anytime* a person can send in a token to your company to redeem 1 unit of your product.

*Anytime might have caveats in regards to supply and demand, duration, etc. but more or less, you receive cash up front and deliver later. And a certain amount would be locked up in trading, so you could potentially make more money than a traditional product launch.

Check out this new age thing called the stock market. It's pretty neat and does something similar to what you're describing already.

I suppose so, but I don't think most normal people who want to launch a product have the ability to issue stock. Whereas anyone can create a token.
