What the heck is a hard fork and why is it such a big deal?

Let's take a look at Ethereum and Steemit to understand why they chose to hard fork.

That is such a nice door.

It´s like Alice in crypto land

I was involved in Ethereum during the DAO and subsequent hard fork. Organized chaos really, some people made a lot on those price swings though. That is for sure.

Good points, // followed.

Hi Heidi!

Great stuff.

I put up a blog post the other night on the topic and a couple memes on the subject for laughs - here they are on your topic today lol (:

Have a nice day!

that's awesome ;)

  • and I did send this directly to people today to have a look see. I have a friend Geordie for example in the UK who is very awake and thoughtful and he would be perfect on this platform and community. I have been waiting for months for him to get on here.

He's a beaut.

well done

these are power moves. especially into next year! - noticed you put up a seperate youtube channel for it. i would consider maybe running some youtube ads/promotion on them too, i've done some really cheap promotion there for really low prices - if they have a lot of views they will show high up in the searches. keep it going, great stuff.

excellent idea, and by targetting cryptocurrency would most likely reach all of crypto for very cheap

i've ran stuff at 0.01 just to get momentum, mainly for my e-residency playlists. i got started on doing some courses on it but i need to get back to that in 2017.. . (adds to the list!)

Followed, I thought I had followed you awhile back, my bad LOL.

Thank you for sharing this, it's so easy to understand when you explain it.

Thank you for this simple explanation. I needed it and now hard fork makes sense. Keep em coming.

Thanks for the video, Heidi, this was informative.

For future videos, could I suggest normalizing the audio levels, so that there isn't such a big variation between the volume in the different scenes and recordings?

Thanks for the suggestion- I know I've still got some kinks to work out.

You're doing a great job, keep it up!
