The first ever block in the Bitcoin blockchain is called the Genesis Block or block 0. It was mined by Bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto and originally hodls 50 Bitcoins.
Nakamoto left a message hidden in the sole transaction in that block. To view the message, open the Genesis Block, click on the transaction and then click show scripts and coinbase.
