While Elon Musk refuses to accept Bitcoins for new Tesla vehicles, another manufacturer, the Canadian electric car company Daymak, has announced the Daymak Spiritus electric car that will be able to mine cryptocurrencies. Payment for cars will be accepted in cryptocurrencies, and Bitcoin in particular.

According to the specifications, it will also be equipped with a solar panel to reduce stress on the battery while driving. The company, which began offering its electric car only 60 days ago, claims to have won more than $350 million in pre-orders.

According to a press release, Daymak Spiritus will be able to mine “from Dogecoin to Bitcoin while it is parked.” The Spiritus electric car will have a GPU on board that will allow mining any cryptocurrency. While the company says the car will be able to mine Bitcoin, there is nowhere in the statement mentioning the ASIC installed in the car.

The Daymak Spiritus has other rare features as well: the car has a weird look, being a two-seater with three wheels, and it can go from 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds. The car is very different from any electric cars, such as Tesla, and offers a very affordable price of $ 19,995 for the model in the "Deluxe" package.

“We envision a future where your highway tolls, your parking and your drive-thru order will be paid directly on the fly with crypto. Your online bills and your banking can be handled through the same software platform paid in crypto.”
