Today we announce the GameCredits Mobile Store and Platform. This is our biggest announce-ment ever and a project born from two years of development and organizational work both through our crypto community and gaming industry partnerships.
This mobile application and gaming store is scheduled to launch early Q2 2017. Currently we have over 150 developers and 300 games signed on to the initial launch, with plans to have over 1000 games for players by the end of Q2 of this year.
Gamers will be able to download the GameCredits store app and instantly access every game on the platform straight from their phone or tablet device. Gamers will be able to buy games and in game merchandise using Gamecredits, participate in free prize tournaments, and also qualify for special discounts from developers looking to win their gaming business.
The GameCredits mobile platform will also offer many competitive advantages for mobile gaming companies. Unlike Google Play and Apple Store, developers will not be charged 30% commis-sion fees or have to wait 60 days for payouts. Using our platform developers will pay on 10% on revenue and have access to payouts in days not months. We have already begun working on so-lutions that allow game developers to pass some of these savings back to gamers, to create dis-counts and other incentives that encourage game play on the platform.
Over the upcoming weeks we will be making important announcements about our marketing plans that include big brand partnerships, platform tournaments, and large scale gaming acquisition campaigns to grow the platform. In particular we are excited about many partnerships and pro-motional plans in Europe, Asia, the U.S. and China.
Along with the GameCredits gaming payment solution for Web and PC games, the addition of our mobile platform means that we now have a complete suite of products and solutions for the vast majority of the gaming industry.
Unlike Google and Apple, the GameCredits store we will be the first to monetize mobile games with cryptocurrency and the first time that mainstream mobile game developers will receive pay-ment and revenues in cryptocurrency.
