Breaking: Stellar Foundation and LHoFT publish White Paper "Understanding Initial Coin Offerings"
With the advent of our current "ICO mania", many cryptocurrency enthusiasts seem to be blindly throwing money at any ICO that "sounds" cool and potentially lucrative.
Unfortunately, investing in the ICO is riskier than investing in its analogous counterpart - the IPO - within the traditional stock markets.
(BTW, it will give me great, perverse joy to see the term "traditional" stock markets replaced with "legacy" stock markets.)
Even experienced NASDAQ, NYSE or AMEX investors think long and hard before venturing into IPO investing. And that's in spite of the protection and "mental assurance" represented by the strict regulatory oversight of the SEC.
Below is a link to an enlightening White Paper about Initial Coin Offerings.
It was recently published by the Stellar Organization and the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT). It's a great way for understanding the nature and complexities of any ICO.
In the interests of furthering your understanding of ICO's - and arming yourself with enough knowledge before pulling that investment trigger, I hope you take the time to peruse it.

Seems that you are getting noticed by the resteem bots... What would Orwell have to say about that?
