In a statement they were surprised, the new accounts must have a minimum capital of $ 10,000 (ten thousand dollars) to fully activate trading on this platform.
The accounts opened in 2017 will not be affected.
Bitfinex intends to welcome investors of medium - high level, in Latin America it is difficult for a novice investor to start using this platform.
