Hi, Steemians!
In today's chapter of Daily Crypto Positivity, we find ourselves in the political realm.
Arizona passed a bill by a vote of 16-13 that citizens can pay for "tax and any interest and penalties" to the state's Department of Revenue with Bitcoin, as well as other crypto currencies they may hold. They haven't specifically stated which other crypto types than Bitcoin would be accepted.
The Bill has been sent to the House of Representatives for approval. If it passes there, as well as with Congress (with details added I would presume) then the Bill would be put into law.
This is huge news! As some of the government officials in the article have stated, posted by express.co.uk, they cannot deny the revolutionary technology the blockchain is. Some fear there could be an issue with governments holding coin for payment and fluctuating prices of coin, but there is still a lot of optimism this could pass.
If this is enacted, this would be even bigger. The idea that this is even being discussed, let alone passed, is huge news already for crypto. The more mainstream we become, the less likely FUD and uninformed entities will be able to crash prices.
I'm stoked. We all should be stoked.
Let's keep this positivity train rolling! All in favor, say aye!

Great step on the right direction. Once one state does it I am sure many more will follow.
