Ripple, in the world of crypto, what is it?

Ripple.
So you can't mine it.
People think it's not decentralized.
Is it really a cryptocurrency?
What is Ripple?
Ripple is an opportunity. It is a bridge from the old way to the new.
Most people like to dip they're feet in the water before they dive in. That is what Ripple will be and is to the rest of the world.
It's the mild sauce at Taco Bell.
You can't just expect the world to go straight to the Ghost Pepper.
Sure, it would be great if everyone just dove into the world of crypto and swallowed it hook, line and bitcoin. But, that's not going to happen as of now. But, people are curious and willing to take a taste. Kinda like a Costco sample, sometimes you end up buying Quinoa Puffs and sometimes you spit them out into your tiny bev nap.
My point is Ripple is an easier pill for everyone to swallow and it is part of the change.
So why not buy a bit and see what happens while the price is low and hold on to it for a while. Don't sell your youngest child or anything like that but pretend you put a few bucks into a slot machine in Vegas. You might hit a jackpot.
We can all go about eliminating the banks later.

And yes, one guy has a lot of it but, at least we know his name and it isn't John D. Rockafeller.
