Matryx is a blockchain-based decentralized collaboration platform developed by Nanome Inc. Matryx is developed using a smart contract system and a reinforcing framework of age-old applications. The smart contract system is preferred because it provides a public ledger of diverse projects and their associated payments, called as, “Bounties” and proposed solutions, called as “Submissions”. This system of Bounties and Submissions is the backbone of the Matryx Platform. When the user aims to give an asset for consideration in an open Bounty tournament, the asset is signed and hashed, and made available to the public. Then the user submits the asset’s metadata to the smart contract system, where it is verified, indexed and submitted permanently. At the end of a tournament, authors of Submissions that contributed to the solution are rewarded. Bounties are descriptions of works for which the bounty-creator is willing to pay. Bounty requirements are posted publicly and indexed in the smart contract system. The bounty-creator determines a reward which is locked in the smart contract system for the duration of the Bounty as a show of good faith. Once the Bounty is public, users begin creating submissions in an open multi-round contest (a “Tournament”)
The Matryx platform provides open access to both completed and active collaborations. When an agent uploads their contribution to the platform, it passes that information to the data storage module and registers that contributions metadata to a blockchain.
How Matryx Uses the Blockchain?
Matryx gives users the power and authority to validate every participant's contribution to a solution. After the verification is done, each participant is rewarded with MTX tokens. The tokens enable the participants to leverage smart contracts, to keep their profile up-to-date over time, and to modify and renovate the platform according to the varying needs of the participants/users.
