🇨🇦 IM LOSEING MY MIND LOL ! I finally took the plunge and opened up an account on poloniex to transfer some of the steem I have powered down and change it into bitcoin , with a ton of help from @clayboyn ! Thanks a bunch , that alone was quite the process I must say ! So once that was all done he helped me to open an account on " coinbase " in order to cash out my BTC in my chequeing account , but after gooing through all the steps I found out thats not available in Canada on "coinbase" all i can do there is use a credit or debit card to BUY stuff but then i can never cash it out !! Such BS !! So next @clayboyn sugested to try "uphold " same thing ! Cant cash out in Canada !!
🇨🇦 After going through all the crazy steps taking my picture , setting up accounts I actually spent more then 8 hours at this today , can you believe it !! Its totally rediculous , and this process should be much easier !! I wouldnt have a clue if no one helped me ! At least I now have an account on poloniex and have successfully changed my steem into BTC ! YIPPEE !
🇨🇦 BUT now I have a new problem ! My BTC is now sitting on "coinbase "and I need help to try and transfer it now out of there , and into a Reputable Canadian Account that I can actually cash out into my chequing account or through paypal even !! CAN ANY ONE HELP ME !? Perhaps a fellow Canadian knows a good and easy place i can go to it would be much appreciated !! Thanks !

They support Bank transfers in and out and should be able to convert your BTC to CAD and send to your bank account.
I remember people being able to do this with coinbase before, surprised they never fixed their payment processor issue.

I don't know that much about Canadian Bank transfers or these exchanges so unfortunately I can't be of too much help to you. Hope you get things sorted out.
Transfer BTC out of coinbase? Well thats not hard you just need a destination address. Then to wait for bitcoins slow transactions to confirm you.
No need to be stressed about any of this. It will work out just fine. Have a bit of patience. Getting things initially set up is the hardest part. After that it will be smooth sailing.

I had lots of help yesterday , that you will want to at least be there to help you step by step on the way ! Its more time consumeing then anything , and you have to have a phone with you to get text messages for secret codes and email varifications becouse these places are very secure ! I would give it a try some afternoon whwn you have lots of quiet time with a small amount so if anything happens its not a big deal ! if I were you I would buy some silver as close to spot price and wait about 2 weeks for it to go back over 18 an OZ then sell it for spot at a good coin dealer, you can buy 10 oz of silver at spot price at JM bullion , free shipping with BTC its about just less than 180 dollars US right now and you get 10 nice silver rounds, after that you could get more from provident metals, not free shipping unless over 100. Also payapl, there is a guy right now selling silver casting grain by the OZ on ebay , he has like 11 left, he is nice I ordered 3, I'm maxed out on liquid funds and paypal or I'd buy it all. Thats a way you could get your hands on some funds and not as intimidating as you think at the coin dealers.

This is all new to me and my first time cashing out some steem , so its very daunting as it is , once i get all set up and learn what to do first and how this works i might get more into stuff slowly but surely ! I find it all very confusing too but chip away at understanding it and it becomes easier, plus things are becoming more user friendly every day, I would have gotten into BTC at the point I could be rich now, but I 1, couldn't wrap my head around it and 2, couldn't figure out how to get my money into BTC , things became easier in a short time and will get easier.

I think just the added stress of opening accounts and after 3 tries finding a place in Canada to that changed my bitcoin to cash was very daunting , ive now finally sent my money to my sons bank account because i deal with the credit union and aparently that wont work , its not a bank !! Such BS ! and im just waiting now , it says it takes a day or 2 , so hopefully it all goes through ok tomorrow ! I started powering down 3 or 4 weeks ago so im just cashing out so much at a time , in another 3 weeks or so i will cash out again as it takes 13 weeks to cash out , but you dont need to wait 13 weeks , you can cash out whats in your steem as it powers down once per week . Im still on EI and I really need the money to pay rent and credit cards ! Or for sure i would be keeping it powered up ! 👍👍👍🇨🇦

Did you try to get your BTC tru skrill ? You can topup your skrill acount with BTC and transfer the amount in any bank acount or credit card . Sadly i dont know really how much are the fees .

Coinbase will have a send bitcoin button somewhere on your coinbase wallet. Use it
After setting up acct. where ever it is that allows you to exchange Bitcoin for
Canadian Money. In that new acct. will be a button where it will say 'Fund' or 'Deposit' and it will provide a wallet address for you to the use on Coinbase to transfer or send those Bitcoins to. From there you can now exchange your Bitcoin into Money.... can be daunting at first and double check everything to make sure you get your funds. I spent all day yesterday studying how to buy steem and every single exchange has its issues (delays, big transfer in fees, limited options, etc.). By the time I get an account set up, the price of Steem may double again and I'll be out of the market. Missing my chance again. Nevertheless, I will continue to work at earning Steem the slow way. Depending on how far away you are, smaller purchases each week could work and we both save the conversion fees!

I use quadrigacx in Canada , but they are not doing etransfers right now but you can get it depositedinto your bank , you need to set up an account there ! coinbase doesnt work in Canada ! good luck , I have used quad now for 9 months !! this is. very old posting .😀
