With the ever growing societal needs of the human race, there is always the need to implement new innovations to help make the world a better place. Some important problems to be considered are the rising sea levels we are experiencing, the failing governance system along with its accompanying problems and so much more. It is to this effect that a company, the Blue Frontiers was established to come up with awesome remedy to this problem. It therefore established the Seastead initiative. The Seatead initiative is to help build floating islands on the various oceans of the earth. There are so many reviews that have been done by many writers on this new innovative technology.
According to NBC, the Blue Frontiers’ initiative will lead to a Tahitian floating village that could be a home to 200-300 people. So imagine the project becomes a success and many Seasteads are built on different islands. It would lead to the housing of many people on the planet. According to the Wall Street Journal, it can house as many as a billion people and will also restore the environment, enrich the poor, cure the sick, and liberate humanity from politicians.
The New York Times also captured the initiative as not being any longer a science fiction. At first it was thought things of this sort could not be achieved but Blue Frontiers are going to make it happen. Seasteading has been identified as a new innovation to help make the planet a better place to dwell.
The HUFFSPOT also states ocean top Seastaed living is realistic, sustainable and it is coming soon so we should all get prepared for it.
An article in NATURE indicated how the project will help create a laboratory for ecology, technology and experimental forms of government. From the article it can be deduced that the initiative by Blue Frontiers is really going to help make the world a good place to be. It also highlighted their plan of experimenting different governance systems on the Seastands.
To add up to the above, INDEPENDENT, UK published an article stating that this initiative will help to build a semi-autonomous community at sea that will provide an environment relatively free from government control, and this is a reality. Blue frontiers has already.
