You made some good points.
We already had the separation of church and state to some degree in most western countries/democracies, and I get the feeling that the separation of money and state is the next logical progression.
Math and politics are in many ways diametrically opposed to each other; one depends on harmony, precision and exactitude, while the other is mostly based on manipulation, interpretation and subjectivity.
Is it any wonder that many politicians are having trouble accepting cryptos? After all, math can't be manipulated so easily with sophistry and half-truths.
