On today’s episode of The Cryptoverse…
I believe what the crypto community needs right now is real reasons to feel better rather than false hope, so that’s what I have for you today.

The "philosophy lecture" is important. I don't mean this facetiously. Understanding has to be based on a larger concept in which one can place the current idea. In this case, the idea is crypto. In that context, today's video helps.
More important to me is your personal sharing. I have limited skill so I look to someone for guidance. If the teacher is always effortlessly gliding by, even when I'm in turmoil, I interpret that as my doing poorly. Either I don't belong here or I need to find a new teacher. When you "joke" about hair pulling, the teacher gets humanized in a different way and the lesson becomes more valuable. It tells me that even when you do everything correctly and believe you are fully prepared, there are times that the reality of the market will cause significant emotional distress. The latter does not equate to loss of hope; just a period of real emotional loss concomitant with the financial loss. That, too, is a great lesson.
At the end of the day, I get to keep my hope and trust my teacher; not in a blind way, but based on a shared experience. I can work with that.

Great episode, and you touched on a lot of points that I think many people will need in times like this. Well, some people will need. I think people go looking for things they want, and then they find the thing they want. So, you'll satisfy the people who look for calm. The more likes and shares you get, the more new people might happen onto your channel and hopefully get an earful of reasonable advice.

It is a real challenge for folks who have put money in cryptocurrency and see the drop in prices across the board.

Thank you for today's episode Chris! Thank you for choosing the content for your episode.

yeah, hierarchies suck... ends in autocracy

Great show. Straight to the point. Always appreciated.

Thanks for the video today Chris. I have noticed how stressed and irritable I am now feeling after I have checked the market. Helpful videos like this help. Just gotta ride the wave 🙏

Great video. No hype, no FUD but VISION. Great. Thanks.

Critical thinking on steroids.... Finding my self having to rethink scaling down buying.

I've been lazy about coming to Steemit and commenting on your posts. Today I decided to drop by and follow your advice. I've always been upvoting your content since I first realized you were on Steemit.

This was reinforced for me today when I came to this thread and realized that my auto vote had beaten me to the punch. :-D

Keep up the good work! Bull or bear market, you always have something interesting to contribute.

Black Friday Sale in Crypto...LMAO! Very Funny! I like what you said about Ether, how it's an organism and has to many parts to die. Very good way to look at it. Great info for a stormy day! Thanks!!!!!

Very good episode Chris!

Agree totally with what you say.

One big problem we have in crypto is that people join for instant gratification. They expect money to multiply from one day to another and things to happen quickly. It really feels like the desperation phase has come in, and your strategy of missing the bottom is very wise, it's very hard not to say impossible to predict the bottom!

Moreover, if you think about it long term, it's really not going anywhere. If it survived the crash of Mt.Gox where it had little to none credibility it will survive now. Not only survive but thrive.

I'm totally looking forward to the future :)

buyers market I think it's kamikaze miners selling to keep this war going I only know one thing it's going to be volatile, binance is the number 1 exchange and they burn profit from trading volume every quarter and the price is hitting a bottom on the exchange

At the same time Binance's daily volume is up 78%.

Trichotillomania... OMG... i do that shit, too. Silly stress behaviour!

you r right, i'm guilty of trying to catch the knife ... but i have been fiat cost averaging

Hey Chris, you mention that you are invested in gold as well and that you are able to sell it quickly if needed...What kind of service you use to buy gold or silver? I would like to check something like that to be a bit more diversified :))

We are definitely in a despair trend now, even the strongest of hands are starting to liquidate funds and taking losses and getting out, will really be a small percentage of those hodling as compared to January this year i'm sure of it. When we do eventually see a reversal im not quite sure we will see a ran that hits an ATH higher than the 20k we saw last time round though

Funny you mention the Black Friday joke if we look at last year right after black Friday crypto went on one hell of a run lol could history only repeat itself lol

ha, black friday ... SALE SALE SALE on crypto

or black death, ha !

Lol at these prices you getting Bitcoin and Alts for a steal! Imagine you new to crypto and you buying in now at these prices

Posted using Partiko iOS

basically yeah, i bought last fall at 2-3x these prices ... so now this is the first time i'm buying substantial quantities.... well, really if i was 100% committed i'd buy even more, it's always hard to buy at the very bottom, because it seems like the world is shitting on you

LOL

it's always hard to buy at the very bottom, because it seems like the world is shitting on you

Realest words i've heard in a long time. I can see you've been through the crypto-ringer the way you speak. Makes us stronger for the next few years of this madness we choose to get ourselves into while everyone else plays it safe

no pain no gain sometimes

would love to see that

I think all of us still hodling strong are waiting to get that blockfolio break out signal lol I know I am

nice speech... i just bought $100 more based on your comments

Black Friday sale!

The key to your networking is "how people get along with each other", that's my biggest concern with STEEM, too much disgruntlement and tribes still

  ·  6 years ago (edited)

not everyone will get along. just allow the ones you want into your feed. much like this real planet. my thoughts anyway

sad,,, but true, good call

re: the black friday sale

Yes, indeed, we have an amazing opportunity (I say as a "permabull"), and I not only look forward to the future, but I also look to the past. I strongly believe the future is so much more important than the present. At the same time, if you look not even so far long ago in history, we are so far above our previous prices. People's memories are very faulty, biased and subject to self-manipulation.

re: if you want to see a bloody market, use coin360.io.

It not only gives a neat auto-updated bit-data block view of the entire market, but every once in a while, the whole page bleeds red to show what it really thinks. Then it resets and goes about it's day.

Thank you for the information Chris.

the cream will rise to the top

hot steem and cream ???

Not in a position to buy but I will hodl and wait for the recovery.

so if you were to start buying up 10% from lows you'd start buying at .416 (up from the .378 low overnight).

For anyone who is a net buyer of crypto- and that includes probably anyone reading this, the drop in prices is a 100% good thing. Any time that the price of an asset of which you are a net buyer goes down, you are far better off.

Here’s a principal to consider- never buy an asset unless you want the price to go down. I don’t invest in anything unless I am so convinced that I want it, that I would welcome future price drops.

One more principle- It’s far easier to get rich when markets move irrationally. I own crypto, and I can say with full honesty that the price drop is one of my favorite things to happen this week.

I have not added to positions except Steem for months waiting for this moment. Now I am allocates fiat for some entry points here. I am thinking of scaling in some of the top Cryptos this week.

of course steem got bitch slapped 45% last week, hard to foresee that kind of shitstorm !!! (-:

Hi have soo little invested (because I just dont have it LoL) that the troubles for me to leave into a stable coin are so big than just HOLD them ;) But I do understand (just a little) why it is important to diversify ... Thanks for suggestion (I could not find the Complexyti link in the description :(

do you mean this yt channel ?
