Bundesbank möchte eigene Crypo Währung! German bundesbank wants crypto currency.

Bundesbank President Weidmann wants his own crypto currency for the central banks under the circumvention of the normal banks. Citizens should then have their bank account directly with the central bank. That all other banks would no longer be needed and he would accelerate a banking crisis, he obviously didn't care.  

 Bundesbankpräsident Weidmann will seine eigene Krypto-Währung für die Zentralbanken unter der Umgehung der normalen Banken. Die Bürger sollen dann ihr Bankkonto direkt bei der Zentralbank haben. Das alle anderen Banken nicht mehr gebraucht würden und er damit eine Bankenkrise beschleunigen würde, war ihm offensichtlich egal.

Weidman:

But even if private digital currencies do remain a fringe phenomenon, central banks are urged by some to consider embracing the new era by issuing their own digital currencies. This would mean that non-financial corporations and even households would have access to the central bank balance sheet in the form of digital balances which – unlike cash – have no noteworthy storage costs. Allowing the public to hold claims on the central bank might make their liquid assets safer, because a central bank cannot become insolvent.
