A few weeks ago, I decided to get into crypto after it dropped in price. while prices were at nose bleed levels, it didn't take a genius to figure out the market would crash in the near term. Now that the hype surrounding crypto has died down, now is a great time to speculate on the cheap. I have been playing around in the Steemit Marketplace, trading the volatility between Steem dollars and Steem coins. The interesting thing about this is we can also trade ether, bitcoin, and doge for Steem on Blocktrades. I want to be clear here, I'm not a crypto expert and am merely pointing out a few ways you can leverage some decent faucets into some extra coin. I have found while starting out in this game, that baby steps and learning about the process is crucial. By playing around with some of these faucets, which are very interesting, you can build the miniscule amounts into enough crypto to play around with without risking a boatload of cash.
I began this journey by signing up at Coinpot, which is a microwallet for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Doge, Dash, and Litecoin. the cool thing about this wallet are the 3 Coinpot tokens that are awarded with every deposit. These tokens can be converted into the other types of crypto stored in your wallets, so you will want to save them to help boost your payout. Another interesting thing about Coinpot is that it gives the user the ability to convert existing coins into other coins as well. For example, you could convert bitcoin into doge, or vice versa. From there I discovered a few faucets that pay directly into Coinpot wallets. There are five faucets that can be left to run until you get ready to collect:
All of these faucets can be collected on every 5 minutes, or left to run until you get ready to collect.
If you are into Litecoin, there is a Free Litcoin Miner site that gives users the option of upgrading their miner for larger payouts. It doesn't pat directly to the Coinpot wallet, but to the wallet you signup with. I'm keeping an eye on this site. When I get enough Litecoin I very well may upgrade to a larger package.
At Bonus Bitcoin users can collect few satoshi can be collected every 15 minutes directly to the coinpot wallet. If you enjoy playing games, there's Bitfun which has a variety of games and allows users to collect a few satoshi every few minutes directly to the coinpot wallet as well.
If you enjoy gambling, there are Freebitco.in and Freedoge.co.in. These sites payout every hour and have the option of playing games to increase the payouts. Once a threshold is met, the coin can be transferred to any wallet.
I know there are a lot of people that say faucets are a waste of time, but I disagree. For people like myself who are just learning about crypto markets, these resources are a good way to learn without losing any cash. Coinpot is really good because they award you 3 tokens for every transfer which can be converted into bitcoin, bit cash, litecoin, doge, or dash. Couple that with the fountains that run until you collect, it doesn't take long to get a cashable amount of coin to transfer into Steem on Blocktrade to power up your blog.
There are a lot of other faucets that pay out smaller amounts that are collectible every few minutes, like Litecoin Faucet. i prefer to transfer these into my coinpot account to get more free tokens.
