Da Hongfei is a large part of the reason why I invest in NEO

NEO is often referenced as 'China's Ethereum', but it's CEO Da Hongfei has been likened to being the Steve Jobs of crypto, and not without reason. Da Hongfei is one of the few charismatic personalities in the cryptocurrency space, and seems very capable of bridging the gap between East and West.

The most recent event in San Francisco (yes, Silicon Valley) where Da Hongfei spoke alongside several other speaker is a good example of why Da Hongfei gives me confidence in NEO. Contrary to many other personalities in crypto, Da Hongfei stands out to me as a very mature, professional visionary CEO who is able to communicate clearly and in a very disarming way. It has been said that Da Hongfei's speaking is better in Chinese, but I am often very impressed by his eloquence in English. I have no idea what age Da Hongfei is, it is hard to gauge, but he seems like a person that the business community could take seriously.

I also love the visionary approach of Da Hongfei with regards to NEO: Positioning yourself to be compliant to government regulation makes for a much safer bet for the future in my eyes. In the video you can listen to Da Hongfei explain the philosophical differences between NEO and Ethereum, for example.

I watched a bunch of it, and it was pretty clear to me that out of all the speakers there, Da Hongfei was clearly the alpha dog in the room. There may have been more speakers, but I feel like everybody was really there for Da Hongfei.

To me a strong CEO is very important for a project to succeed and while there are many cryptocurrencies that are worth looking into, not all of them have a Da Hongfei on their team.
