Upcoming ICO fever is on! Ziber the block chain mobile operator!

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

Are you a business traveler? Or perhaps a backpacker on a budget? Or maybe you just have a bunch of free minutes (Part of your mobile plan) that you know you won't use. Imagine being able to sell/trade all those free minutes of your mobile plan that you're not using, to someone that totally needs them. That someone is probably from another country.

How does it work? There's a lot of trolls online that are saying, well there;s already whatsapp, viber and skype.
Why the hell do we need a blockchain mobile operator if we can already use those other services already in place where you already pay almost nothing to cents for international calls?

Well.. the answer to those trolls is this.

If you go to another country, do you think there's free wifi all around you? Let's say you go to the Amazon, on a trip for what ever reason. Do you really think there's gonna be wifi? For sure there won't! But at least there will be a mobile antenna somewhere, you can bet on that.

Okay so how does it work? You install their app on your mobile, you buy the minutes that you wan to use in which ever country you are. Then just like that, you magically get minutes to use on your phone as if you had a native sim card from where ever you are at the moment.

So, if you want to call someone you'll dial directly their number, you won't have to go trough the internet like skype or whatsapp.

Let's say, for example that you're in the jungle in Africa being chased by hungry lions. Fear no more because there's no need to find wifi! You can just call for help using some minutes like a local!

This is an epic idea and indeed very, very disruptive to the businesses already in place. The current fees for international calling trough services like skype usually go from around 10-20 cents per minutes, trough the internet right?

Well, Ziber calculates their fees to be around 01 cent per minute in average. Say what?!?!?!?!?!

Yes indeed, those big companies are in trouble. It's a price decrease of 10-20x times.

Okay, and you know what's even more scary for these big companies? Ziber already has a working product! You can actually try it online on their website for free, until the ICO starts.

So, here you're investing money into something real, that's already working. Not into some theoretical blockchain or token that will magically appear in one year, like EOS for example. Ha Ha Ha

Ziber says that, they'll use the money form the ICO to do marketing, open offices in several countries and to develop the mobile apps.

Soft cap is 1 million pounds and hard cap is 10. It's seems rather moderate, makes me think this ICO will sell out pretty soon.

Go read their white paper, it's very detailed. It talks about how the system function, master nodes and so on.

and their official website.

ICO video here.

By the way the company is registered in the UK, and the team seems to be located there. This should give investors some confidence, as in the UK we have very strict rules and guidelines for companies to follow. This means, the team will not mess around and will most likely succeed.

Example of another successful ICO from the UK? Stratis.

Does anyone have any information about the Ziber hack?

I cannot seem to find any response from Ziber team. The only conclusion I can draw from all this is that they stole all the ICO money.

Going to the etherscan.io and looking at the original ICO address: 0xf0a924661b0263e5ce12756d07f45b8668c53380 it seems like there is only 37 Eth.

Looking at the new wallet address: 0xab98922ca2be48214539c7d5dc63a343d14d7227 there is only 8.7Eth.
