👥 Australia will fight tax-defaulting traders. The Australian Tax Office is finalizing new rules for expanding measures to combat money laundering in the crypto-currency sector. For traders will enter mandatory verification, and exchanges will be required to report any transactions worth more than $ 770 in equivalent.
💸 Korean Woori Bank successfully tested Ripple. A large South Korean bank completed the second stage of testing Ripple for cross-border transfers. Full implementation of crypto-currency transactions in the bank's system is planned for 2019.
🇯🇵 The regulator of Japan received a huge number of requests for the discovery of crypto-instruments. More than 100 companies have applied to the Financial Services Agency of Japan (FSA) for a license to open crypto-exchange exchanges. At the moment, 16 sites for exchange of crypto-currencies have been licensed in the country and 16 more are allowed to work without a license.
⚡️ Liquidity.Network moved to the beta test stage. The project is an analogue of the network Lightning Network for the blockade Ethereum. The developer promises to release a working version within the next three months and compete with the Raiden project, also focused on developing a system of instant transactions for the etherium.
