NVO's NVST currency may be the unofficial crypto of Algeria and maybe other Arabic speaking nations?

Russia has Ethereum, China has AntShares / NEO, and now Algeria and maybe the wider Arabic speaking world is poised on the brink of claiming their own coin under the company NVO who was already released the NVST token to their investors, riding on the CounterParty block-chain, just last week.

This speculation (and it is wild speculation at the moment) comes from piecing together a few different facts. First and most blaring, this slack message from one of the creators, Marto:

Secondly, considering the patterns from before whenever a blockchain big-wig meets with a world leader, we see governments take some steps to claim their block-chain turf. Putin expressed his hopes openly, while China's movements were more subdued, interviews of CCTV2 followed by an under-the-radar law passed just after that punishing online fundraising scammers with DEATH and the looming closing of their Internet from the outside even further in 2018 as Golden Shield enters a new phase to strengthen their great firewall.

But Algeria is a very minor player on the world stage. They could, however, use their ties to the Arab world to lead the charge on this front. But is it an opportunity they even see?

I would love to hear any and all thoughts on this, especially from Algerians and Arab speakers.
