As someone who is excited about IOTA, all the recent hires look incredibly interesting. A few days ago, Acidyo shared the news that Oliver Bussman joined the IOTA team.
He's not the only new pickup for IOTA, who quickly followed that announcement up with two additional hires:
Anders H. Lier is a businessman who also has fairly aspirational goals, mentioning that he believes in making a positive impact on society and environment.
"I am very excited to be a part of defining the new world of open-source distributed ledger protocol. This goes beyond blockchain. Zero transactions cost of IOTA is disruptive. With no scaling limitations, IOTA will be a driving force for the machine-to-machine economy of the Internet-of-Things and beyond"
Vassil Dimitrov is a mathematician and engineer who will be helping build the technology further.
"I will contribute with my expertise on implementation of encryption algorithms, knowledge on discrete mathematics and graph theory and FPGA/ASIC implementation of encryption algorithms. Last few years I have done very considerable work on the development of fast parallel linear algebra algorithms and software; the tools invented can be directly used by IOTA"
With all the recent additions to the team, I'm really hoping IOTA has a strong 2018. This is one of the currencies under 10 dollars that I'm keeping a look on and I'd love to get everyone's thoughts on the chances of a breakout year.
