Get Yourself A Crypto Credit Card! Those Coins Are There To Be Used 😉

While we are all hoping for the next all time highs and massive profits most of us forget the actual purpose of cryptocurrencies, which is to actually use them as a currency. To actually purchase goods and services on the market instead of just holding them in your wallet forever.

That being said I´ll get myself a crypto credit card, which will allow me to spend my valuable coins whenever I want on pretty much everything. It´s not the same as paying for something directly with crypto but will at least lead to some actual usage after all 😇

One world. Multiple virtual currencies.
Harness the power of blockchains on your travels. Enjoy access to multiple virtual currencies across different blockchains. All made simple with the TenX card. It’s the one card you’ll want to have on all your adventures.

My current favorite in the field is TenX at the very moment as they allow you to top up your account with Bitcoin as well as Ethereum while only converting the respective amount of your tokens at the time of the purchase.

This means of course as well that I shouldn´t use the card at all times as it would be pretty stupid to pay with it whenever the market just crashed 20% or more in a day. But anyways during spikes it´ll be even more enjoyable to invite our friends for dinner or a drink 😉

Do you know is TENX is accesible in Canada ?

but the tiring things, it's the over control to get the card

It´s not too complicated to get a crypto card actually. There are some prepaid cards out there as well that you top up and are able to use afterwards. Better than just to have your coins sitting in the wallet after all ;)

Thanks for the post. I heard that TenX lost its VISA status - has this now changed? Is it now useable?

I thought that Monaco was the only real player right now but would be interested to learn the latest.

There have been some issues with the card provider who messed with Visa. Due to that some companies providing crypto credit cards had to stop business for some days and switch their business partners. TenX is sending out new cars already though as far as I´m informed ;)

Hey, I wish I was in a position to be able to spend some of my millions made with crypto, but I've not made millions, so I guess that'll have to wait.

Have you seen Monaco card (MCO)? It's the only card not affected by the VISA connection problems which set all the other cards back (inc. TenX). I'm not 100% sure on their current status, or whether it's available to all, but it might be something worth looking into. I do know Monaco card allows for fee-free exchanges between fiat currencies (at real interbank rates), as well as crypto spending. Not personally signed-up, but have read about it.

You can look at BitPay if you are in the US. It still works here

Thanks, but not in US - from UK. I know Monaco card is, or is going to be for more markets than just US - thats one of its selling points.

Ah gotcha gotcha and heck yeah thanks for letting me know will look into it.

There are many companies out there providing the same service. I´m just somehow felling most comfortable with TenX as I read a lot about it and trust the company and its founders.

I think it would be better if they have a reward program :P

Well they actually have one ;) Just check out their homepage, by owning their tokens you´ll be eligible to get some share of their profits and while using their card you get some cashback on top ;)

I will get one eventually...there's also Monaco, any more?

But still, I won't be using it for another year or two, I'd like to let my coins multiply a few times first before I start using them X-D

Ah another Hodler not using his coins for their actual purpose :P
(Besides Monaco & TenX I didn´t look into any other projects actually. Made the decision to choose TenX after all in the end.)

That is amazing, since you aren't obligated to buy TenX before the purchase, you can just link your account and change the money in the moment of purchase. Of course, with just two different coins that is not a WOW!, however with more and more coins that could reveil a amazing way to use criptos without get a prepaid card. Thanks for sharing @steembusiness

Thank you for the tip, was thinking recently which card to order

You might like to take a look at TenX then ;)

TexX ? Wow, never heard of it ... everyday a new twist! peace

Well there are so many projects out there that it´s impossible to know about everything that´s going on ;)

Both TenX and BitPay are loosing there VISA status as what I just heard.

They just had issues due to their card issuer WaveCrest messing with Visa but they didn´t loose any status actually. New cards are already on their way as far as I´m informed, so the future´s still bright ;)

I would love to get one, but the lack of adoptation and general acceptance is still prevalent. I can't wait for the alt coin card. Where I won't have to exchange SBD or Steel for BITCOIN.
