The internet is great and I love its reach. It makes my 50 Square meter office in the real world transform into a much bigger online entity that can service many more clients at the same time. It is an amazing feeling to be able to interact with clients and give them customer satisfaction even though I may never get to seen them.

Our business is built on trust. A trust that we would be there for them when they need our services.
We take pride in reverting to that queries as soon as possible. Even though to do that we have to maintain additional staff that do nothing more then place a game of solitaire on our office computer or are busy checking their social media accounts in off peak hours. Yet I have to let them keep working this way so that no customer query goes unattended. Even though some part of me rebels to this idea of wasting the electricity and internet doing practically nothing but it is a business necessity and I can do nothing about it.
One of my bigger worries is protecting my business web store against a possible DDoS attack.

For this reason I have been contacting some of the leading names in the CDN & DDoS protection industry.

It causes me great dismay to know that it costs a couple of thousand dollars a month to get a DdoS protection coverage for my online business.

These high costs keep such essential protection services out of the reach of a lot of businesses our size that come in the category of small and medium businesses (SME businesses).

At this point there is an emerging opportunity to get a CDN & DdoS protection coverage that would be in the reach of every online business out there.
This service is provided by Gladius. They are aiming to create a decentralized CDN and DDoS Protection on the Blockchain.

They present an opportunity for to wage a war and defeat every DdoS attack.
Internet users can download & install the Gladius software on their computers. This would be a silent software running in the background. Its sole purpose would be to rent out the desktop computer's spare bandwidth and storage capacity to the Gladius Network. As rent, a user would receive GLA (Gladius) tokens.

Thus even before paying any money individuals and businesses can begin to earn GLA tokens.

Gladius would used these resources to create an automated marketplace where you can rent out your spare bandwidth and storage as well as purchase content delivery and DDoS protection services.

Individuals and businesses seeking to obtain CDN and DdoS protection can paid GLA tokens to avail these services from Gladius.
Joining a pool is initiated by a node with an Ethereum smart contract.

This would create a cost effective model to create a CDN and DdoS protection system. An essential pillar of strength is the money earning opportunity for people who have a computer connected to the internet. It would mean installing the Gladius software once and running it to earn a passive flow of income on autopilot without any further effort.
