the answer in my opinion is very simple, because I want to channel aspirations that I cannot share through other media, besides steemit we can also earn money so that I will get lots of feedback ...
and for the rising price of steem/sbd, I don't think it will be a real obstacle for steemer, because steemit is a place to share, not just to earn money :)
