IBM is now developing a cryptocurrency that will be pegged to the dollar, the reasoning is to stabilize it, but what is really happening the central bankers will try to use this as their currency. IMF is already sounding the warning bells, if the UK does not work on a BREXIT deal that is beneficial to the bankers the UK economy will implode. Initial jobless claims are at the lowest since the 60s but wages have not increased. Venezuela is not allowing Turkey to mint their gold. The IMF says the global economy is starting to slow. Central banks have now maneuvered to take down the economy, Trump just called them out on it.

“I don’t like all of this work that we’re putting into the economy and then I see rates going up." “I am not happy about it. But at the same time I’m letting them do what they feel is best,” Trump said.
I thought he wanted the FED to crash the system? More of the same?

Dave, what if these bankers bring down the bond market instead of the stock market? Does the smart money want to be sitting in sovereign bonds of a broke, bankrupt country? or a viable multinational company? Look, if the plan is to bring down the stock market , why are other countries dumping US treasuries? Imagine a 10yr tbill at 8 or 10%,

Another thought. What if the tariffs on China are not really about trade, but a revenue stream for the US, since China has cutback/stopped reinvesting its trade surplus into Treasuries? US debt is the zombie in the room, not the stock market.

IMO, it's going to be the bond market that goes first. Who is going to want to deal with 3% APR when you can get that per month, or better, with crypto utility tokens. Prime example is Populous Platform Token that is rolling out for peer to peer (smart contract) invoice financing. That means just about anyone anywhere (less it's a targeted country) can be a part of a pool to finance invoice in those countries that Populous has opened for a monthly 2%-5% (based on Z-Altman scores) profit. Screw the Banksters, people will come first in this new economy.
