AppCoins limps on to Huobi Pro exchange

It's a classic case of buying the rumour and selling the news.

Appcoins, the new coin issued by the team behind Aptoide, was launched on Huobi Pro today with little fanfare. In fact, since yesterday, the price for APPC has dropped around 20%.

As mentioned yesterday in my blog, AppCoins looks like a coin with a great deal of potential with a solid team and a good use-case - providing decentralized app developer rewards and an ecosystem that utilises the token for judging quality of apps and for in-app purchases. Aptoide has been a legitimate alternative to Google Play for some time now, with over 200 million users worldwide.

Appcoins has a relatively small market cap and circulation as it stands now and should gain considerable value once the next stage in the roadmap - the beta launch of AppCoin support on the Aptoide app distribution platform - is implemented.

I continue to believe this coin is going places. This may just be a bit of a lull. As the rest of the market has been fairly cool today, as well, it may be a symptom of larger forces at work in a general correction phase of the market. Now could be an excellent time to accumulate if you have the stomach for it!
