The DOLLAR has broken down from a GIANT TOP. Implications and a MUST SEE CHART.

Good day this Friday, Feb. 16th fellow Steemians. I will on occasion stray from my real passion (s): historical sites, baseball history, and yes....Jazz saxophone which I perform and never write of, to the "markets". The investment business and what moves markets is what I did and did well a long while back; BEFORE the movie Wallstreet (MIchael Douglas) portrayed the filth and corruption I saw first hand..(and walked out of) just before the crash of '87. I in fact called that one three months prior. I became a student of market sentiment. A real student. Not just the "put/call ratio" but the importance of value weighing it and measuring how the public reacts to market moves....i.e is their a wall of worry? (bullish)..or is the public lacking fear on a major decline..(bearish).

We are in the latter friends. While you are seeing a nice reflex rally in the indexes (dow etc)., you did NOT see a bottom of substance recently. Now the "powers to be" are desperate. NOTHING is real. Manipulation continues. they'll try to get new highs. And they may. Rest assured smart money is selling it.

chart compliments: Clive Maund.

Since I have posted here I have said the dollar is "toast".

The fed is in a quandry. Interest rates have no where to go but up. But they'll try desperately to keep them down. You are told of a robust economy. It is not so robust. In fact we just had the worst retail numbers in eleven months.

What to do? Hold the good cryptos. I said good ones. And I love STEEM. I right here said at 15,000 Bitcoin, divirsify out of a lot of it and into silver/gold. Silver is the cheapest value in the world right now. I said at under 10,000 hold!

Keeping it simple, silver may well see 100.00 per oz. in a few short years. It is in big demand industrially and has of course currency value. Just a joke at these (16.80 oz) prices..jump on it folks.
Gold? the only true currency to hold value for 5000 years. "THEY" are not able any longer t keep it surpressed. IN fact the big manipulators have coverred shorts (more to come) and bought the latest dip.

Finally my friends, what are the Chinese doing? They will be demanding a gold backed currency and have been cornerring the gold market (and Russia). They hold a ton of our debt and are not fans of "Make America great again".

In sum, you'll be happy with Bitcoin and Steem I do believe. You'll be real happy with your precious metals. You will not be so happy holding a lot of "fiat" currency.

Thanks for visiting. UPVOTE!! And, enjoy the weekend.

Check out the bottom right of the debt clock and it has gold and silver info. Really cool.

yes!

Great analysis! Keep it coming!

you bet..

It's like watching a Patriots game. The refs find newer and more creative ways to cheat the other team. Who nows what the Fed has up its sleeve. As always, we will be last to know and get slammed the worst.

totally correct. And thanks.

Have you looked at the National Debt Clock of the USA it is very High and is constantly Going up at an Unprecedented Speed

you bet!! a total disaster and this has been a ticking time bomb! thanks..

I am really weak in these type of matters.

Can you explain a bit to me?

I want to know what this Debt Clock is and why is it Increasing?

simply speaking we (America) is an enormous debtor nation. Under Obama..(not only him) but spending has gone wild..entitlements etc..and where is the money coming from..."printing it" creating debt that we must pay off one day. When? The Chinese are big hoders of ourt debt, and getting very anxious..WE could default..or just print more...but who will buy? that is the crisis...and why gold can ( I say will) explode upwards especially in crisis. It is money and has been for 5000 years. I hoe this helps a little. It is called a ticking time bomb. IMagine when not if the Chinese say NO MORE, and " call it in".

Really it's very Complicated

it is...I have a strong feeling gold/silver goes much higher..as the dollar tanks..

It very well could be True as in times of Trouble we always revert back to our past Cultures. So Gold being the standard is totally Viable.

Very nice summary, YS.
