At a speech in the Chinese academy of sciences 19th annual conference held in Beijing, the president of china, Xi Jinping referred to blockchain technology as a part of the new technological advancement in this 21st century.
In his speech, made on the 29th day of May, he went further to say
Since the 21st century began, global scientific and technological innovation has entered an unprecedented period of intensive activity. A new round of scientific and technological revolutions and industrial changes is reconstructing the global innovation map and reshaping the global economic structure. The new generation of information technology represented by artificial intelligence, quantum information, mobile communication, internet of things, and blockchain is accelerating breakthroughs in its range of applications.
The president didn't stop there, he went further to establish a blockchain program in China of which 200 private enterprises showed their interest to join. His main intention was to make the new technology transparent and open in the country.
In conclusion, this should serve as a guide to all investors, both long term and short term holders that blockchain is a game of the future.
