Look at the top of the screen or coinmarketcap.com you will see the market cap $10,027,302.926 at 11:34 am WestCoast time.

At 6 am market cap was 15,095,841,101

Where did the $5 Billion go to?

Are people running for the hills?

    I'm guessing it has something to do with the FED interest hike (or not) announcement coming out in less than an hour.

      I think they are going to raise the interest rates to fuel the markets. we will see soon.

      Yep, we shall see.
      I think its the best time of the year to raise rates, then they can hold back for the rest of the year.
      If rates go up, I think we will see bitcoin surge again. I waiting to see if that will be true. . . A short wait LOL

            I track these numbers throughout the day as well, but I don't think people are running for the hills. Cryptos are volatile, which can be quite good at times. I'm sure it will bounce back!

              I agree cryptos are volatile but this is the first time I have ever seen the over all market cap go down near this much in weeks, rather then just hours.
              time will tell with the FED announcement in a hour. eek..
