It's my opinion that cryptos will not really gain mass appeal until someone makes them less complicated.
They will not hit their sweet spot until the general public can use them easily.
And that's not the case right now.
I'm pretty tech savvy, and even I find them very complex. If I have to watch 5 YouTube videos just to setup a wallet or figure out how to buy a coin, then the average person is never going to use them!
And that's the elephant in the room that no one is talking about. It's the BIGGEST ISSUE facing cryptos.
Cryptos need their own version of AOL. Remember when no one really understood "going online"? It was too complicated! Remember modems? Holy cow. All the dialing and pings and screeches. Before AOL, it was tough to get online, and when you got there it didn't look anything like it looks today.
The same is true of cryptos. I believe we're currently in the pre-AOL time period for cryptos.
Whoever figures out how to make the AOL interface to cryptos will make A LOT of money. And it will bring the mass adoption they need to have long term viability.
But until then, your friend, your grandma, your mother, your neighbor.....they're not buying and spending a BTC let alone an ETH or EOS. No chance.
Some ppl just dont use computers.
