Why You Shouldn't Sell in Fear - Don't Fear Blood in the Streets

Good afternoon, guys!

Take a look at Coinmarketcap and you might be thinking one of two things:

#1: My portfolio is 60% down from highs at the beginning of the year and I'm so fucking scared I'm about to sell it all because I can't handle this volatility.

#2: This is an incredible buying opportunity and I'm going to be adding to my portfolio because we probably won't see these lows again (could be ever).

I'm not saying that we won't go lower, but this market correction is a blessing in my eyes. HODL is so hard for newbs to do, especially if they've gotten into cryptos for the first time within the past month. They see the market bleeding red and they freak out. They might've honestly thought this market would only keep going up, which is seriously a fantasy world. The market ebbs and flows, just like any market.

These are the top 10 cryptos by market capitalization, all of which are double digits in the red.

One year ago, I would not have been steady, unwavering in such a bleeding dip. But once you have watched the market through several of these "breathing cycles," you start to go unfazed by it all. My advice is to put the most money into the market when there is "blood in the streets," as so many have said before me. If you truly believe in the technology of cryptocurrency, and know, as I do, that it can and will free humanity from the chains of coercion and centralization, then you are in it for the long haul. You know that the future is bright.

I'm very bullish on NEO and Litecoin right now and trying to accumulate them both as much as possible - here is my updated portfolio:

Hang in there guys, we are in for a wild ride.

I like the thought of the market breathing in and out. I was talking with a friend about how the market was letting some of the air out like it was overinflated. Here's to the ebb and flow of life and holding through the stormy seas!

Cheers man :-)

One thing I'm finding, owning crypto is like riding a rollercoaster. It has it's highs and lows. There's always a little regret when we HODL all the way down to the trench, but when it reaches that peak there is a false euphoria that makes you think you're a winner! The reality is this: earn crypto, don't buy crypto. HOLD crypto, don't sell crypto. Don't pay so much attention to the value, but on the quantity. That's what I've learned so far on this crypto journey. @ironshield

Well said! It is a roller coaster. Would be a mistake to get off too soon lol

Draw a straight line on a chart from November 1 and relax!

Pretty much!

Thought I bought the low two or three days ago... and now we have a new low. I need more money to buy more lows :P

Right you are. It’s hard not to “go all in” on what you think will be the bottom.

actually you have good portfolio. you arent lucky because we live dawn for cyrptos but I think its temporarly. we will see the old prices of btc soon. take it easy. thanks for your post.

Thanks for your words. We will prevail!

I couldn't have said this better! This is the buying time :)

A little patience, the market will improve. Hodl.

Well said.

Oh wow that's a pretty diversified portfolio. My portfolio now consists of five cryptos, but I'm thinking of adding more. What are your thoughts on NEO and OMG?
