Internet vs Blockchain AND Email vs Cryptocurrency

Helloooo..... My dear steemians,

You must be wondering what a strange title ? How can we compare Internet with blockchain and Email with cryptocurrency.

In the above analogy, the comparison of blockchain with internet is deliberate. Way back when internet was in its nascent stage, people were apprehensive and said that this will not last. History repeats itself and again people are in denial mode and saying that blockchain technology is just a passing phase.

No , my dear friends, it is NOT.

Internet has survived all these years and so will the blockchain technology. It is the future and is here to stay. Internet is the backbone of email ; likewise blockchain is the backbone of cryptocurrency. Email is run on internet and cryptocurrency on blockchain.

With the advent of email, postal mail system died its own death. With the email system in place , people slowly started opting for this technology because of ease,convenience ,speed etc.

I have a feeling that cryptocurrency will have a similar kind of effect on the banking system. A time will come when banks will not be required. Instead of keeping money in fixed deposits , people will store their money in cryptocurrencies. Banks will become useless identities. Money transaction will take place on blockchains which is safer than any bank locker.

These are my sentiments , how I perceive the future of blockkchain technology and cryptocurrency.
