CD Projekt RED studio, which created The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has provided new official news on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2 game, which delighted fans.
The developers have announced that they are starting to fully develop the game Cyberpunk 2 (Projekt Orion), which will be the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. A new press release reports that the team behind the development of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is leading the development of a new project. At the same time, as it became known, many experienced developers who managed to work for other studios such as Ubisoft, BioWare, Blizzard, WB Games and others joined the development of Cyberpunk 2. It is also worth noting that despite the beginning of full-fledged creation, the new action is still at a very early stage of development.
Among other things, CD Projekt RED studio has published a list of vacancies on its official page, as well as some details of the Cyberpunk 2 game. It is reported that the crafting system will return in the second part. In addition, Cyberpunk 2 has some events planned that take place in the open world of the game. It is also worth noting that in the second part there will be full-fledged cut scenes, and not only interactive dialogues, as in Cyberpunk 2077. At the same time, it is unknown whether a third-person view will appear in Cyberpunk 2 or not. Earlier, the developers stated that they were still thinking about this topic.
